Worked with Project Managers, Team Leads, and CSC Management on the VOIP and non-VOIP installation of CSC Customers working with software development and installation.

Work directly with Project Manger and Shop Managers utilizing MS Project 2007 and Earned Value Management to provide schedule and resources management on large scale private aircraft upgrades.

Provide Financial Reports to support on-time delivery and management program reviews utilizing MS Access Databases, MS Excel, and internal reporting systems.

 

Jun 2013 – Sep 2013, Chicago Bridge and Iron, Project Controls Cost Scheduler, Dallas, TX

Worked with Project Managers utilizing MS Project 2007 and Primavera Project Manager P6 (PPM) to provide scheduling management. Provided Contract Proposal preparation by compiling Proposal Packages of the estimated cost of work to be performed, resources to be utilized, and timing of work to be performed. Primary Industry involved the development and implementation of multiple fuel storage and delivery systems to DOD facilities involving construction and Critical Path Methodology (CPM), and Performance Management Reporting. Provided Financial Reports to support on-time delivery and management program reviews. Used MS PowerPoint to provide Executive Management Status Updates.

 

Aug 2011 – May 2013, Electronic Transactions Consultants Corporation, Senior Planner/Scheduler, Richardson, TX

Worked with Project Managers to utilize Earned Value Management (EVM) methods. Used MS Project 2007 (with Project Server) and Primavera Project Manager P6 (PPM) to track schedules, resources, and costs. Used Microsoft Excel advanced user and utilizing pivot tables and V-Look-ups for providing financial reporting data. Provided Project Management Reports directly to the customer. Worked on the development and implementation of a $48 million dollar Toll Road Design Project involving Construction and scheduling data, Critical Path Methodology (CPM), and Performance Management Reporting (Budget Performance), Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Using MS PowerPoint to provide Executive Management Status Updates (Program Management Reviews).

 

Jan 02 – May 11, Bell Helicopter, Senior Integrated Program Scheduler and Cost Analyst, Hurst, TX

Utilized EVMS methods and MS Project and Primavera Project Manager P3 (PPM-TeamPlay), developed and maintained manufacturing cost and scheduling data. Oversaw the teams scheduling updates of the H1 Aircraft schedules from development through production. Ensured that Best Practices were met and all aspects of Program Schedule and Cost were accurate. Provided traceability and critical paths from contracts while reporting customer variances in baseline costs and scheduling. Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) knowledge. Supply Scheduled Risk Analysis via PertMaster.

 

 

Oct 01 to Dec 01, Technical Writer/Testing Administrator, Verizon, Irving, TX (Temp through Kelly-IT)

Duties included writing test scripts for new ILEC in-field repair billing software based on Software Requirements Specifications and software quality assurance (exception/error reporting). Additional duties included Testing Administrator for Integrated Software Testing (IST) Teams and Unit Acceptance Testing (UAT) by internal customers.

 

Nov 99 to Mar 01, Program / Project Manager, DSET Corporation, Plano, TX

Managed four major telecommunications (CLEC) accounts which generated  approximately $10 million in revenue.  (Conectiv, BTI, LightNetworks, and 2nd Century). Implemented acceptance, and production of proprietary software. Using Microsoft Project, I developed and tracked end-to-end product roadmaps and version controls detailing requirements and changes for hardware, OS, third party software compatibility or limitations for nine products including LSR, E911, and LNP. 

 

Aug 99 - Nov 99, Business Analyst Consultant, SPR, Irving, TX

Tested the pre-launch long distance functionality of Pacific Bell (RBOC-ILEC) in California utilizing an all-encompassing testing methodology in preparation for 271 certification/licensing. Conducted business analysis, white-box testing, and process flow analysis. Defined testing requirements, created test cases, and wrote scripts for testing staff.

 

May 98 - Jun 99, Systems Analyst Consultant, Decision Consultants, Inc., Dallas, TX

Developed high level System Architecture of GTE's Media Ventures project researching requirements, conducting analysis, and certification of certain systems and their components ensuring Y2K compliance.

Performed Team Leader responsibilities during vendor contacts, research and analysis of components and data flow.

 

Nov 96 – May 98, Operations Manager, Qtel Inc., Dallas, TX

Key member in all aspects of the start-up and development of Qtel, a CLEC (Competitive Local Exchange Carrier) company offering residential local and long distance service in seven states from ILEC providers (SWB, GTE, USWEST). Gathered requirements for provisioning, billing, and customer service and utilized flow charting software to compile screen requirements, if/then scenarios, customer monitoring, and output (bills and/or late notices). Continually interacted with programmers in the development of final product in Java. Using Microsoft Project, I planned and managed the back office operations including customer support, operating software, database system design, financial tracking (accounts receivable, payment postings, and bank transactions), and ILEC interfaces. Supervised Customer Support, billing process flows, and 3 data entry clerks.

 

Sep 96 - Aug 97, Senior Activations Analyst - Affiliated Computer Systems, Dallas, TX

Supervised Activations Department for ILEC-Bell Atlantic South (later Verizon) in their attempt to offer long distance service outside of their primary area. Major duties included error identification, resolution, requirements research, analysis, and procedural development. Tracked new customer information to ensure data was not compromised by system processes, software problems, or data entry input failure (provisioning). Researched system problems utilizing flowcharting processes and worked closely with programmers to meet production requirements. Tested new systems to ensure user and functionality goals were met. 

 

 

Aug 94 - Sep 96, Senior Production Control Analyst, Excel Telecommunications, Dallas, TX

Responsible for developing, inspecting, and testing all IT products before they were sent to internal and external recipients.  Along with one other associate, we trained and developed a 24-person staff in all aspects related of system analysis. Jointly, we created positions and trained staff in Job Control, Business Analysis, Agent Commissions, Customer Billing, and special situations. Interacted closely with internal customers and programming staff to determine causes of system and hardware problems and provide workable solutions.

Provided financial analysis to the End User Computing department.  Primary duties for this COBOL and FOCUS programming department included budget forecasting and compilation, corporate client billing, regulatory records control of testing and procedures data, QA and testing of COBOL and FOCUS software changes, and client training management.

Examined operations budget of $11 million for five regional account research departments. Integral member of the Statewide Transition Team during the conversion of acquired regional banks. Streamlined processes to reduce Proof Operator input errors for Dallas Operations.  Supervised the Electronic Service HomeBanking Department.
